McDonogh Hacks is a free 24-hour coding event where students will converge at McDonogh School’s brand new Fader Innovation Center to create amazing, solution-oriented projects and learn about computer science in the process. The event will include beginner to advanced workshops, and teams will compete to win prizes. The teachers and judges will be industry professionals.
This hackathon is part of the Fader Innovation Challenge, an innovation and entrepreneurial program designed to bring together teams of students from McDonogh School and the Baltimore region to identify and design solutions to human problems. McDonogh Hacks believes that diverse perspectives are necessary for the development of high-impact innovation. All students are urged to apply, particularly those for whom financial resources would otherwise prevent participation in such a program.
McDonogh Hacks I will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 10 and will end at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 11, 2018.
